Why can't I use the Forward, Back or Stop buttons on my web browser?
  To insure your data is collected, stored and transmitted correctly, use the buttons provided on the pages (see benefits Buttons and Icons section).
What is the reason I need to have JavaScript enabled?
  The website is designed to use JavaScript for improved functionality and security which includes buttons, messaging and other items on the pages.

What benefits can I apply for using the Benefits and Services Center?
  You cannot apply using the Benefits and Services Center but you can check your benefits and report changes.

Do I need an email address to create an online account?
  No, you don't need an email address to create an online account. If you enter your email address, you will receive an email to activate your account.
Do I need to answer the secret question to use my online account?
Yes. These will be asked for security purposes when you use the Benefits and Services Center.
Do I need a Social Security Number to create an online account to Report Changes or Review My Benefits?
  If you do not know your case number (DCN), you must have a Social Security Number.
What kinds of applications can be made on line?
  You cannot apply using the Benefits and Services Center but you can check your benefits and report changes.

What happens if I forget my password?
  Click on the "I can't access my account" link on the login page. On the next page, select "I forgot my password" to be directed to the "Password Reset" page. You must answer one of your secret questions, and select your secret word to reset your password.
What happens if I forget my password and I do not have an email address?
  Click on the "I can't access my account" link on the login page to begin the process of resetting your password without an email address.
How do I activate my user ID to apply online?
  If you entered an email address during registration, the activation code will be sent to your email address.You can either click on the link from the email or you will go through the account activation process when you Sign On to your account for the second time. If you did not enter an email address, you must answer the secret question to activate the account.
What do I need to do if I do not remember my password or my answer to the secret question?
  If you forget your Secret Word, click on the "I can't access my account" link on the login page. On the next page, enter your username and password. We will send your Secret Word to the email address on file.

Change Reporting
What is "Report Changes"?"
  This section of the website allows persons receiving benefits (MO HealthNet, Food Stamps, Temporary Assistance or Child Care Assistance) to report changes to their household as required by law.Change reporting requirements are different depending on the type of assistance you receive. The things you report for Temporary Assistance, Child Care or Medical Assistance programs are different than what you report for the Food Stamp Program.
What type of changes can I report?
  Change reporting requirements are different depending on the type of assistance you receive. The things you report for Temporary Assistance, Child Care or Medical Assistance programs are different than what you report for the Food Stamp Program.Once the head of household has an active account, they will be able to report changes for all members in the household.This will include, but is not limited to, changes in employment, assets, expenses, insurance, contact information and if someone moves in or out of the household.
Do I need to have an account to report changes in my household?
  You will need an online account to report changes using this website. If you do not already have an online account, you can register online. You can still report a change by calling the FSD Information Center toll free 1-855-373-4636 and speaking to a Customer Service Representative.
How do I find out the status of the change I reported?
  If you have an online account, you sign in first. After you've signed in, you will be able to see the status of your change reports on your account home page in the "Change Summary" section.
Benefit Review
What is "Review Current Benefits"?
  This section allows you to view your current benefits and your benefit history. Additionally, you will be able to see your next re-certification date. You must have an online account to view this section.
Who can see my benefits information?
  Only the head of household for the benefits being received will be allowed to create an online account to review benefit information, request changes to information we have on file, and see the status of online change reports.
Web Browser Questions
Why does my type look fuzzy or blurry in Internet Explorer 7?
  Many people are finding that after installing the IE 7.0 browser the text rendered on the screen is blurry and hardly readable. This is due to Microsoft assuming that all people now have LCD screens and have enabled a Clear Type feature by default. This quick tutorial will show you how to uncheck the Clear Type command and restore your text to normal.

  • Open IE7 browser
  • Go to Tool Tab on Menu Bar
  • Click and open Tool menu
  • Click Internet Options
  • Click Advanced Tab
  • Scroll down to Multimedia
  • Uncheck "Always use ClearType for HTML"
  • Click Apply
  • Click OK
  • Shutdown all browsers and programs
  • Reboot your computer for the changes to take effect

Your text should look normal again.
Why does my tab button not go to the buttons in Safari?
  This is a preference setting that has become disabled or never set. Use the following steps to make changes to your preferences:

  • Go to Edit on Menu Bar
  • Click and open Preferences menu
  • Click Advanced Tab
  • Scroll down to Multimedia
  • Check "Press Tab to highlight each item on a web page"
  • Click "x" in upper right corner to close the window and apply your changes.
